Data stored on your iPhone

Your declarations, commitments, optional first moves, reminder settings, outcomes, reflections, preferences, and day history are stored locally on your iPhone. DayRamp does not require an account for its core daily experience and does not automatically upload your day history or maintain a server backup of it.

Optional speech input

Speech input is used only after you choose it and grant microphone and speech-recognition permissions. Apple Speech turns your voice into editable text. Depending on your device, language, and Apple's service availability, Apple may process audio on your iPhone or on Apple's servers. DayRamp does not save microphone audio to disk, include it in your day history, or send it to the DayRamp service.

Optional AI shaping

AI shaping is optional. After the app explains the transfer and you choose to continue, DayRamp sends your declaration text and the minimum context needed to shape it over HTTPS to the DayRamp service. The service forwards the request to OpenAI and returns structured commitments to the app. Microphone audio is never included.

DayRamp does not write declaration or generated commitment content to an application database or content log. OpenAI API requests are made with response storage disabled. OpenAI and infrastructure providers may still process or retain limited request data when permitted by their policies, including for security and abuse prevention. If you decline AI or it is unavailable, your text stays on your iPhone and you can continue manually.

Technical and network data

The service may process ordinary operational data such as IP address, request time, app version, response status, request identifier, and a pseudonymous installation identifier. DayRamp creates the installation identifier randomly; it is not Apple's advertising identifier and is not used to track you across apps or websites. These signals are used to secure the service, limit abuse, diagnose failures, and control cost.

Purchases

DayRamp Plus subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes your App Store account, payment method, billing, and transaction. DayRamp receives the product and verified entitlement information needed to show available plans, complete a purchase, restore purchases, and unlock Plus features. DayRamp does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, DayRamp schedules reflection reminders locally on your iPhone. DayRamp does not use a server to send these reminders. Notification text may be visible on your lock screen according to your iOS settings.

Website and service providers

• Vercel hosts the website and optional AI service.
• OpenAI processes text only when you request AI shaping.
• Apple distributes the app and provides StoreKit, speech recognition, and device services.

Website and infrastructure providers may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. DayRamp does not sell or rent personal data, use declaration content for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Deletion and retention

You can delete DayRamp's local records and managed preferences from Settings, or remove remaining app data by deleting the app, subject to normal iOS and device-backup behavior. DayRamp does not maintain an account copy of your day history. Operational rate-limit and security records expire or are removed when no longer needed. Data independently processed by Apple, OpenAI, or infrastructure providers is subject to their retention rules and legal obligations.

Security and changes

Remote AI requests require HTTPS in production, and API credentials are kept off the iPhone. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. If DayRamp's data practices materially change, this page will be updated with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice.
