DayRamp is designed to help you make and close a daily commitment—not to build an advertising profile or a cloud archive of your life.
What stays on your iPhone
Your active day, commitments, outcomes, reflections, preferences, and day history are stored locally by the app unless a future feature clearly tells you otherwise. DayRamp does not require an account for the core experience.
When you use AI shaping
If you choose Shape my day, the declaration text and the minimum context needed to shape it are sent over HTTPS to the DayRamp service. The service forwards that request to OpenAI and returns structured commitments to the app. DayRamp does not write the declaration to an application database or content log.
Requests use OpenAI's API with response storage disabled. OpenAI may still retain API data for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its applicable data controls and policies.
Technical data
The service may process ordinary network and operational data such as IP address, request time, client version, response status, and a pseudonymous installation identifier. These signals are used to secure the service, limit abuse, diagnose failures, and control cost—not to identify the content of your day.
Speech input
Speech recognition is handled by the iPhone platform according to the permissions and settings shown by iOS. DayRamp does not save microphone audio as part of your day record.
Service providers
- Vercel hosts the website and API infrastructure.
- OpenAI processes text only when you request AI shaping.
- Apple distributes the app and provides device services such as speech recognition.
Each provider processes data under its own terms, security practices, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can use your words as-is instead of sending them for AI shaping. You can also remove local DayRamp data through the controls provided in the app or by deleting the app, subject to iOS backup behavior.
